During a visit to the Hemingway Social Club in Key West, hosted by our Call Family of Distillers, Club Marzipan was presented with a handful of well-aged, cask strength whiskeys pulled straight from the barrel—with no proofing down of the product whatsoever. Through rigorous debate and repeated tastings, they picked their four favorite bespoke cask strength barrels to release to the world.

Originally set to choose one barrel, Club Marzipan members were so impressed that they selected four, marking Hemingway Whiskey Co.'s first-ever cask strength releases.

The collaboration celebrates the intricate flavor profiles and compelling stories embedded in each whiskey, encapsulating a joint commitment to the art of fine spirits.⁠

Selected by Fred Minnick's Club Marzipan, Hemingway Rye Cask Strength is a blend of Kentucky 4 yr and Indiana 6 yr straight ryes, finished in rum-seasoned Sherry barrels, then pulled at cask strength.⁠

Each bottle is labeled with its barrel number and features unique proofs and tasting profiles compared to the others. Every barrel of our Club Marzipan Barrel Selects tells its own story, rich in complexity and the singular notes that make Hemingway Rye distinct–in its unedited, Cask Strength form.
